A Second Glance Case Review is exactly what it sounds like: a methodical, independent review of the materials in a criminal case — police reports, witness statements, evidence logs, and court transcripts — looking for what may have been missed, overlooked, or worth investigating further.
This service does not involve offering a legal opinion. Instead, we identify specific, factual areas such as, an uninterviewed witness, an inconsistency between a report and testimony, a gap in the chain of custody or evidence that the State did not turn over.
This review is often requested on cases already in progress where something feels unresolved or a case that’s already been decided and being considered for appeal or post-conviction relief.
